Your Local has a high number of human rights claims against it according to the minutes from your last CAW Council.
Idea#1: Pass a bylaw barring anyone with more than 2 Human Rights violations against them from holding office. Being found guilty for the 2nd one means that person has to resign from office.
The million dollar cost over-run. Police wont usually intervene, but members can lay charges privately.
Idea#2: Pass a by-law that anyone with financial duties/responsibilities and has a cost over-run on any project has to be cleared by a forensic audit before they can run for, or hold office again.
Your in-plant committee is actively engaged in a vendetta against Mr. Heaton even now as the auto-crisis unfolds, as other units within your Local want to decertify from CAW, or has had a wildcat walkout.
Idea#3: Ask your National Union to put your Local into Trusteeship, because Leon and the boys are occupied with revenge taking.
