My Union friends and I had this argument and they are angry.
I told them that all Canadian Unions have nepotism, but they say NO! Not their Union!
Follow me here;
Leon and his lackey told my friends that the blog Nepotistan is a thinly veiled history of Local 1285.
When they checked with Paulo and Vince, the past President and Vice-President, they told my friends, why look at our Local? The National office is the one who does nepotism.
When they checked there, someone told them it was the Canadian Labour Congress that practices nepotism. You can tell because CLC is so dysfunctional.
Other CAW staff told us that if we want to find Nepotism, we should check with SEIU. Sharleen Stewart appointed her family member to their staff and that person is useless.
We asked Leons Lackey if that SEIU person was as bad as Local 1285s Duds and we were told NO!

My friends are very angry with Leons Lackey. They say, Local 1285 already has effective Uncle Toms, just look at Jaspal Brar-Why they should try to get us to Uncle Tom Mr. Heaton?
What kind of people do these idiots think we are?

My friends want me to start a new blog to examine which Canadian Union has the most Nepotism? We may call it State of the Unions!

We have found that staff in most Unions and the CLC and provincial bodies are all inter-related to each other, that why I said before that it is Union Royalty! Your Dues-Theirs to spend!!

People who want to join CAW must keep this in mind. It is now past practice! Not a analysis!
Not a reading of the situation!! Not politics! It is simply a fact! It exists!
If you are any kind of minority, you need more than 6 times the qualifications to get a job internally. Any less and any white male outranks you.
Any disagreement.......and they bring out Jaspal Brar to make you look like a fool, to deny your claim!

Ontario has a department to ensure that qualified people /new immigrants get jobs they are qualified for!
Maybe now they can have one for Unions?

Maybe Leon and his pals should hope that Mr. Heaton trashes their Union! Talking with my business friend who contacted the boys, I am told Mr. Heaton is very protective and respectful of his Union.......which makes people like Leon-AND the UNION- look that much worse!!
